When an object is detected, the green indicator light on the board illuminates, and the OUT port outputs a low-level continuous signal. The detection distance can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer: turning it clockwise increases the detection range, while counterclockwise decreases it. The detection angle is 35°.

Active Infrared Sensors: Utilizes infrared technology to detect reflections from objects. The detection range varies with the reflectivity of the target: black objects are detected at shorter ranges, while white or highly reflective objects can be detected at greater distances. Larger reflective surfaces enhance detection range compared to smaller ones.
